Welcome to Sacred. By using the app, creating an account, or accessing our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree, please do not use Sacred.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your use of Sacred, including prayer tracking, reminders, social features, and any optional cloud backup or purchase features. By using Sacred, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
Sacred is intended for general users and is rated 9+ for health and wellness topics. If you are under the age of majority, you should use Sacred only with parental guidance and where permitted by law.
3. Account Terms
- You are responsible for keeping your account information secure and for any activity that happens through your account.
- You may sign in using supported services such as Apple or Google, or through a Sacred account where available.
- You may request account deletion in the app. Deleting your account removes account data from our servers, though local data and certain backup data may remain in your device or in third-party services until managed separately.
4. Sacred Pro and Purchases
Sacred may offer paid features, including Sacred Pro and lifetime purchases, through Apple IAP, Google Play Billing, or other supported app-store purchase systems. Purchases are digital goods and are managed through the applicable app store and billing provider.
Refunds, cancellations, and renewals are handled according to the app store’s rules and policies.
5. Acceptable Use
- You may use Sacred only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with others’ use of the app.
- You may not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, disrupt, or scrape Sacred or its services.
- You may not use Sacred to harass, impersonate others, or share abusive or unlawful content in profile fields or social features.
6. User-Generated Content
If you use social features, you may create display names, Sacred tags, circles, or leaderboard-related content. You are responsible for the content you choose to share. We may remove or restrict content that is offensive, abusive, or otherwise violates these Terms.
7. Optional Notion Integration
If you connect Notion, you authorize Sacred to create, query, update, and archive entries in your selected Notion workspace to provide prayer-log synchronization. You are responsible for choosing the correct workspace, maintaining suitable permissions, and backing up important Notion content.
Bidirectional synchronization may merge competing changes, select the latest update, archive duplicate rows, or overwrite older values when resolving conflicts. Notion availability, API behavior, permissions, rate limits, or policy changes may interrupt the integration.
Notion is an independent third-party service. Sacred is not affiliated with or endorsed by Notion. Your use of Notion remains governed by Notion’s terms and privacy policy.
Disconnecting Sacred stops future synchronization but does not delete databases or rows already created in Notion. Sacred may change, suspend, or discontinue the integration when necessary.
8. Not Medical or Religious Authority
Sacred is a self-tracking and educational tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Cycle predictions are statistical estimates and are not guarantees or contraception.
Sacred also provides educational Islamic guidance, not a fatwa. Islamic rulings vary by madhab and context, and users should consult a qualified scholar when needed.
9. Intellectual Property
Sacred and its content, design, and branding are owned by Promethion Tech and its licensors. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, redistribute, or reverse engineer Sacred except as allowed by law.
10. Service Availability
Sacred is provided as a service and may be updated, paused, or changed over time. Prayer times and related calculations are estimates and may vary by location, device settings, and platform capabilities.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Sacred is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sacred and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service, if any.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Sacred if you violate these Terms or if we need to discontinue the service. You may stop using the app at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Sacred after the changes become effective means that you accept the updated Terms.
