Release notes

Sacred 1.2.0

Qada plans and history, swipeable Prayer Insights, Tracker Thumb reach, Game Center leaderboards restored, Notion for Watch and Mac, calendar makeup options, and clearer prayer artwork.

All platforms

Notes that apply across every Sacred store in this release.

Nothing in this update is shared across every Sacred store. iPhone, Mac, and Watch each have their own sections below.

iOS

Qada and Insights on iPhone, Notion companions, Game Center, calendar options, and a smoother onboarding.

Qada

Qada ledger, rebuilt

Add Qada, prayer and fast makeups, paced plans, and history live in one calmer flow—so catching up feels organized instead of scattered.

Makeup-prayer plan

Spread open prayer qada across upcoming days at 1, 5, or 10 per day—or set a custom pace—then add those days to Calendar when you want them on your schedule.

Makeup-fast plan, refined

Plan remaining fasts with Mon/Thu, weekly paces, Maximize, or Exact pace, skip breaks you add, and keep Reminders one tap away from the plan itself.

Reminders for planned makeups

Optional evening reminders before planned makeup fast and prayer days, with lead-time choices and a deep link that opens the matching Reminders section.

Qada history: Created and Completed

See when qadas were created—including auto-created misses from Tracker—and review completed makeups you can undo if marked by accident.

Edit Qada history

Fix prayer, reason, note, or date on a history record when something was logged wrong—without rebuilding the debt from scratch.

Guided tips for Qada

Short, one-time tips appear as you use plans, calendar export, history, edit, and undo—so the new ledger teaches itself as you go.

Insights & Tracker

Prayer Insights you can swipe and scrub

Swipe between Overview, Monthly, By prayer, Weekly, and Ramadan, and drag across monthly bars or the weekly rhythm line to explore without leaving the page.

Prayer icons, drawn for Sacred

Dawn-to-night prayer artwork replaces emoji on prayer rows, the next-prayer hero, and onboarding previews—with Sunrise labeled as the next event.

Tracker switch: Thumb reach

Put the floating Tracker switch near the tab bar for easier reach, or keep it under the Tracker heading—choose once after the tour, then change anytime in Appearance.

Smarter prayer summary ranges

Auto grows with how long you have been tracking (up to 90 days), while 7/30/90 stay honest about the days you actually have—and you can hide Auto if you prefer.

Clearer Tracker heatmap colors

Days with a miss paint as Missed, and incomplete days stay Partial progress—reserved blue for days that already include a late or qada prayer.

Calendar

Calendar kinds you choose

Turn prayer timings, planned makeup fasts, and planned makeup prayers on separately—then sync only what you want into Calendar.

Calendar toggles for Qada

Choose prayer timings and makeup plan days from Shortcuts, and set the same options during Premium onboarding before Calendar permission is requested.

Remove calendar events by kind

Clear only prayer-time, makeup-fast, or makeup-prayer events and turn that sync off—without wiping your other Sacred calendar kinds.

Companions & Game Center

Game Center leaderboards are live again

Global and weekly leaderboards should load and accept scores once more—the Game Center leaderboards are now published in App Store Connect.

Notion for Watch and Mac

Connecting Notion on iPhone can provision your paired Apple Watch for direct prayer-log sync and keep Sacred for Mac’s Notion session fresh—including when tokens refresh.

Widgets, Live Activities & setup

Clearer Live Activities and widgets

Sunrise shows as the next event (not the next prayer), Done actions stay off the Sunrise card, and logged counts stay aligned with the day you are viewing.

Swipeable onboarding with Hub demo

Move between setup pages with a pager-style swipe, see Press-and-hold animated for Hub shortcuts, and clearer Apple Health branding on the cycle import step.

What's New archive

Guides → What's New now lists every release with version, date, and highlights so you can revisit past notes anytime—and companion Mac notes can appear on the same page with their own version badge.

watchOS

Standalone Notion prayer sync and Devices & sync on the wrist.

Notion sync without the iPhone nearby

When Notion is connected on iPhone, Apple Watch can sync prayer logs directly with Notion—even if your phone is away or iCloud storage is full—with an offline outbox that flushes when the network returns.

Devices & sync on Watch

See Sacred device activity and your Watch’s Notion status in a dedicated Devices & sync page, including whether standalone Notion access is ready.

Smarter handoff with iPhone

When the phone can accept marks again, Watch prefers that path and clears pending Notion writes so newer edits are not overwritten.
